I posted on our Facebook page and Instagram page this past Tuesday about our family issue and that we would be pausing our delivery schedule until July 13, 2020. I would like to go into more detail about this. The outpouring of support and prayers have been extremely touching and I wanted to explain the “why”.
I have been working hard bringing more and more keto, gluten free, sugar free and low carb goodies to all of our followers, customers, friends and family. I love being able to make someone’s special day or be able to bring these goodies to a diabetic who hasn’t been able to find treats to enjoy with their family. Its a joy that I experience every day and on every delivery.
My own family is #mylittleketofamily. We make meals, snacks and treats everyday that are keto. We believe in health and what our bakery is producing for others. I can admit however that I have, like most moms, find it difficult at times to juggle work and family life. It got to the point that we as a family realized that we needed to take a step back and have new experiences together. We set out, spontaneously, on a very long road trip. We wanted to see parts of our great country that we haven’t seen before. The family trips that I used to take growing up are nothing like what we now have to prepare for, of course I’m referencing COVID. Boxes of gloves in every size, multiple masks, bottles and bottles of hand sanitizer, tissues, paper towels, soap, extra waters for washing hands even after we sanitized.....we were not only worried about COVID but also the long journey we took to visit some friends that we now know will be friends for life.
We drove over 2000 miles enjoying our southern states and along the East Coast all staying Keto and healthy. We are closer, tanner, more relaxed and ready to get back to what brings us happiness! I am ready to bring more goodies and also take our bakery to the next level. I can’t thank everyone enough for your patience and prayers and I can’t wait for the day that I can hug everyone of you and thank you!

Forgot to ask today how your photo shoot went! Congrats on your honor as one of New Orleans' Top Business Women!!! The Pecan Praline Cream Cheese Cake is awesome, especially heated with a little Irish Butter on top,v as you recommended! The fresh pecans in praline icing and cinnamon flavored base cake with pecans baked inside is so scrumptous!!! Cant wait to hear how your Opera Cake surprise turned out! I Googled it and drooled as I viewed all the pics of the French delicacy! I guess I'll survive on my Petit Fours, Sweet Bread loaves, King Cake and Roasted Garlic Bread til you return!!!
